With the recent developments in Health IT, many new job positions are now becoming available within the health care industry.
Job boards are now being flooded with job listings for a variety of positions related to Health IT. This is an exciting time for anyone seeking a career in health information technology. The health care industry is in the beginning stages of information technology development.
One government agency is doing their part to invest in Health IT by offering a fellowship program. The fellowship program is through the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) which is part of the Department of Health and Human Services. It is being offered to six candidates to learn as well as contribute to the ONC's Health IT initiatives.
